YES – the long awaited return of PEZZNER to Toronto!!
houseaddict and boundbysound are proud to present the third installment of our SUMMER MIXTAPE SESSIONS (SMS) at Wrongbar. And yes, we’re celebrating with the world-renowned remixer, and eclectic producer, PEZZNER!!
In the 90’s, recording music as the much loved Jacob London (with Bob Hansen), releases on the legendary Classic Music Company, Doubledown and Dotbleep, earned Dave Pezzner a reputation well beyond his native west coast – cutting his chops by creating eccentric house and break beat rhythms like none other. Since 2008, the man ventured out on his own, and boy, his sound has evolved.
Since then he’s released a debut album – THE TRACKS ARE ALIVE – on legendary Freerange Records, as well as remixed the likes of Josh Wink, Doomwork, Simon Baker, Milton Jackson, and of course his latest bomb of 2012, this beauty of a remix of Chicago’s very own Roy Davis Junior…

It’s apparent that Pezzner’s unique style separates him from many producers. And as such, we’re ecstatic that he came on board for Summer Mixtape Sessions. Help us welcome this Seattle native to SMS on August 24th, with local support from the BOUNCE crew, and local performers Mike Gleeson and Tudor.
