It’s been an amazing summer in Parkdale friends!!!  Things heated up over the past few months with the likes of Kate Simko, Gorge, Pezzner, and Tornado Wallace stopping in.  : )

houseaddict and boundbysound are proud to team up with bounce to present the FINAL installment of our SUMMER MIXTAPE SESSIONS (SMS) at Wrongbar.  We close things out with a dude who started making deep house well over 15 years ago; Jimpster.

Jimpster has made it to Toronto on an annual basis for several years, and he continues to bring such a fresh new sound for everyone to bask in on the dancefloor.  2012 is no different friends.  The label boss of Freerange Records (and of the uber underground, Delusions of Grandeur) will close out the Summer Mixtape Sessions in true form!!  To get a taste of what he has to offer, here are a couple of amazing bits to warm up your ears:

As usual, our selection of local performers is very specific, in order to complement Jimpster’s sound.  We are ecstatic to announce that DJ Bootz will be on warm-up duties, with Sleazebot taking over to lead right into the main attraction.  All performers are local Torontonians, with Bootz making her debut at Wrongbar.  Sleazebot however (Jeff Button & Rich Hope), are well seasoned for this venue, and bring with them a very unique style of disco-house-retro-funk.  It’s hard to describe, so maybe just take a listen to their sound RIGHT HERE.
